My wonderful mother got me this pair of black ankles boots when she was traveling and happened to shop at a Diesel store. I really like the pointy-but-not-too-pointy tip because it makes my appearance sharp but not too sharp that it threatens people. Some high ranking company officers may wear super pointy leather shoes and frankly, they look too aggressive to me.

I also love the hi top part where you can either tuck in your pants or leave them out depending on the occasion and the spirit of your outfit. What a wonderful purchase!

This pair of men's black leather ankle boots just looks stylish yet modest! On the side there's a zipper; so you just need to put on the boots and zip them up. Very convenient!

These black ankle boots can actually substitute your black dress loafers because with the jeans or pants covering the shoe top they look pretty similar to each other. Throw on black pants or dark blue jeans and a sharp looking dress shirt of practically any color (especially gray and blue) and you are good for a formal or semi formal setting.

Throw on a polo shirt and tuck it in for a semi formal ensemble. You probably never want to wear a t-shirt as the conflicting images of a t-shirt and leather shoes make the outfit awkward.

I wear these black hi top boots all the time because they can be part of a formal or an informal outfit. They actually feel more comfortable than the standard black dress loafers; so I wear them more often.
