One day I was at Kohl's with my friend and we saw this black dress shirt in the clearance and thought what a special shirt! The pattern and design on the shirt is so unique that she encouraged me to snatch it before it's gone. I tried it on and it fit perfectly. So I got it. Sometimes you can find something very special at an outlet store. You never know!

This black button down dress shirt has a special pattern on it: slanted black lines crossing each other, forming diamond-like pattern. I guess it makes sense to call it a black diamond dress shirt, but this type of pattern is actually called argyle and usually applies to a sweater. This is the first black dress shirt with argyle pattern I've seen in my life!

The pattern itself is a bit playful and mischievous so you normally don't wear it for formal occasions. If you do, you'd wear a silver tie and dress jacket to take some of the edge away. Then you should be fine. The shirt is for less formal occasions and is best at it! I simply put on a pair of dark blue jeans (work better than light blue jeans) and white leather belt (to create contrast) and I am all set.

The distinct argyle pattern makes the shirt ideal for wild activities like night parties and clubbing. I wore it to clubbing once and my friends were all surprised, asking me where I got the shirt. After I told them I got it at Kohl's they were even more surprised. Who would of thought one could find something like this at a department store?
