Now here is a sleek looking piece of clothing. The parlament jacket from G by GUESS is stylish but not flashy. The design's emphasis on a neutral color tone is evident and as such the colors of this jacket are limited to shades of gray. What this jacket has that caught my attention is the unusual belt-like collar design, which the makers call the snap and buckle collar. Needless to say, you can adjust the collar size that fits your neck the best, which is a nice touch.

This full-zip 100% cotton jacket features knit waist and cuffs, epaulet shoulders, as well as four front zip pockets: two at the chest, and two at the waist. The design is such that the gray areas of the jacket are enclosed by the black rim that goes around the waist and extends through all of the sleeves. There are two small patches of light gray located near the armpit that share the same color as the collar belt. The fabric feels silky smooth and comfortable to the touch.

In all honesty, the muted color tone did not trouble me at all. Being fashionable does not mean that everything must be colorful and flamboyant. Different occasions call for different styles.
