Along with the Club Monaco dark blue sweater vest, I also got myself a white cardigan sweater mostly because of their renowned quality. It's definitely got a different taste than what I am used to. The first thing that came to my mind was that it looked too old fashioned for me but my friend encouraged me to try it on. I did and as usual, I found out that it could still look good on me with black or grey t-shirts underneath.

Design-wise, this cardigan features a deep V-neck collar, a five button front closure, and knit waist and cuffs. It's a very simple sweater that doesn't look all that impressive by itself but with some arrangement you can make it part of a sophisticated and preppy outfit. Without a doubt it's made with comfort and high quality as can be expected from Club Monaco.

This sweater with its white color indicates that any shirts underneath should be dark color for that much needed color contrast. Black or gray t-shirts work very well. As for the pants, go with white or even khaki if you want to mix in some other color. If you decide to wear white pants and choose to button up the sweater, however, you might find the white color to be overwhelming. This is the reason I prefer to unbutton the front and let my t-shirt's color offset some of the white. Better yet, I took the belt off my EXPRESS belted cargo shorts and put it on my white pants and the whole outfit pretty much came together as shown in the photo. They look great together!
