I really like the pointy-but-not-too-pointy tip because it makes my appearance sharp but not too sharp that it threatens people. Some high ranking company officers may wear super pointy leather shoes and frankly, they look too aggressive to me. I also love the hi top part where you can either tuck in your jeans or leave them out depending on the occasion and the spirit of your outfit. I usually leave the part tucked in.
